Back in the 90s and early 2000s, a commercial fisherman got approximately 2 years use from a fish net before acquiring a new one. Some fishermen still use this style netting today. The used net was then stored in old gear piles or shanties. I reclaim the nets and cut, clean, and package it myself. It is a long, tedious process and requires a crew of helpers, as a commercial net is approx. 1500 ft long, 50 ft wide and weighs over 4000 lbs. This is quality net made from super strong nylon and is not like the cheaper cotton net that you see in party stores. This netting is great for nautical themed parties, creative interior designs, outdoor patio & garden use, sea life & shell displays, restaurant decor, kid's rooms and wall hangings. It can also be used in seafood restaurants, churches, schools, and waterparks. The possibilities are endless.

Knotted: Knotted netting is knotted on all four corners of a square mesh for durability. This netting typically has more flex than the knotless which suits better for decorating purposes.
Heavy: Any netting marked “Heavy” is a knotted netting that is made with thicker twine and therefore makes it stronger. It also stands out more when used for decorating. There is no heavy option for knotless netting.
Note: We get these in full size nets and cut, clean, & package them to the best of our ability. We try to cut around all of the cuts & tears but occasionally one will slip through. This gives the net character and that genuine nautical feel. However if you do receive a net with a small hole or tear and are not satisfied, simply return it and we will send you a new one.

We purchased this netting to cat-proof our deck and it is great. The quality of the net is fantastic… the patched areas enhance the authenticity… my only complaints are the size and the unpatched holes. We purchased 15’x15’ but the actual measurement are more like 14’x 12’. We were able to make this size work for what we needed but it was much more difficult because the smaller size meant that we had to struggle to stretch it to fit. It is great quality and we are happy with the results.

The item is perfect in construction… it does have a hole which was previously undisclosed but I can fix that. The sizing isn’t exactly accurate. I’d say the net is closer to 15’ x 12’ so we are ordering a 3rd as the size matters for our project. Otherwise the nets are super strong, they look really cool and we are very happy with communication. Thank you!
