These are brass cleats with a beautiful polished finish. We get these and polish them to like new condition. These are as good of quality cleats as you will find anywhere. Use these as functioning cleats or great nautical display pieces. Cleats can be used in a variety of ways including, cabinet door handles, drawer pulls, wall coat hangers and décor. Item is nice and heavy duty. Screws leave much to be desired as they aren't the same color. Currently looking for better screws, and for that haven't installed or used yet. :(
